SDC had a fun day of travel across Northern Alabama this past week which included Networking, enjoying delicious foods and drinks from local restaurants and coffee shops, and even meeting the Mayor of Decatur over lunch. Please enjoy these pictures and details on our day below:
✰ We absolutely enjoyed our time at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber Event: Breakfast & Biz. We met a lot of wonderful connections in the area and had a delicious breakfast and coffee at The Foundation Coffeehouse. We are looking forward to future networking events with the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. Like and Follow their Page on FB for more information on upcoming events in the Huntsville/Madison area.
✰ After our fun in Huntsville, we went down the road to Madison, AL, where we met with Chris Lindsey and Van Hose with First National Bank to check out their new location and discuss some 504 deals in progress. If you need financing or a banker in Madison, these guys are some of the best.
✰ We then moved on to the city of Decatur, where we met with Heather Wright, the Regional Manager of Alabama SBDC over some very yummy coffees at High Point Market. We introduced some of our newly hired team members to her to continue our existing relationship as well as provide an opportunity to “meet the team.” If your small business is just starting up or has been operating for less than 2 years, please reach out to Heather with Alabama SBDC Network for help with professional projections and financial documents you will need when applying for financing. David Lively with Bank Independent, also stopped in to meet some of our new faces. If you are looking for financing or a banker in Decatur, they are one of the best in the area.
✰ After enjoying our afternoon pick-me-ups, we picked up lunch at Let's Do Lunch and went to Decatur City Hall to eat with and discuss the 504 Loan Program with Mayor Tab Bowling and other colleagues involved in development and entrepreneurial education in the city of Decatur. We are looking forward to future opportunities in Decatur to not only help small businesses grow, but also to educate young adults right out of school and small business owners on the 504 Loan Program as well as many other Loan opportunities offered by the SBA.
It was a successful and rewarding day for all of the SDC crew that attended our Huntsville ↣Decatur Road Show. We will be doing more days like this moving forward. If you would like to set up a meeting to discuss SBA opportunities either for yourself, for a client, or just for informational purposes, please contact us by phone, email, or Facebook messenger.
